Size Chart for Crimping Sleeves
For Monofilament
Both copper and aluminum sleeves are suitable for monofilament.
Choosing the right size for the monofilament being crimped is more important
than the material construction of the sleeve. The next consideration would be
the crimping tool being used. The Pro Tackle 254 Hand Tool will crimp Copper
Mini sleeves as well as Aluminum Mini Sleeves. The 450 and 792 Hand or Bench
Tools will crimp both Copper Double Sleeves
and Aluminum Oval Sleeves. The CT1000 and CT600 Tools crimp only Long Aluminum
Sleeves. Use the charts below to choose the correct sleeve for the size
monofilament or cable that you are using.
