Waterman Electric Bottom Reels 

Available in 12 or 24VDC Models

Frames and stanchions on all models are constructed from 1 ¼" stainless steel pipe with a welded foot mount. Stainless steel "U" style gunwhale mount bracket with a "T" type locking bolt.¼ HP Pacific Scientific high torque, low amp DC motor. Heavy duty 5/8" diameter stainless steel spool shaft. Fiberglass spring arm on all models. Retrieval rate is 350ft. per minute under a moderate load. Spool capacity is 3500' of 3/64" stainless cable.

 

Peterson Electric Bottom Reels 

Constructed from solid brass and stainless steel with a solid fiberglass spool and tapered fiberglass spring arm. Unit is powered by a 12 VDC converted generator motor available in three different speeds indicated by the color of the motor. Reel is supplied with a heavy duty 50 amp switch. Reel can be used as a manual reel should power fail. Will fish depths up to 300 fathoms (1800 ft.)  

Waterman Direct Drive Electric Bottom Reels

Waterman Industries direct drive bottom reels provide maximum torque for many types of fishing applications. The new housing design allows for the addition of multiple (up to 3) heavy duty fiberglass spring arms for increased lifting power. The standard model comes equipped with a 3/4hp Scott Motor and a 25:1 gear box. Different gear box and horsepower combinations are also available to meet your specific needs.  

Waterman Hydraulic Bottom Reels 

Direct drive hydraulic reels provide the most efficient use of resources of commercial fishing vessels. A 12 GPM pump with a 50/50 flow divider will run up to 8 reels. Peek reel speed and torque is determined by supply pressure and flow (GPM). Reel is equipped with a variable speed control valve with stainless steel stem and control handle. Hydraulic control valve is directly mounted to motor.
