Super Spool III- 48" x 80" 

The new Super Spool III is designed specifically with monofilament line in mind. With a larger 30 inch core, the 48" x 80" Super Spool  III evenly distributes the pressure on the monofilament line- lowering stress while the line is stored. In the end, this means the monofilament will outlast line on other longline spools and reduce replacement costs. Lindgren-Pitman's latest technology has eliminated welds between the end plates and the core to create a stronger longline spool with smoother hauling. Features improved hydraulics, larger spool core, innovative construction, solid cast aluminum end plates, level winder with guard, stainless steel shaft assembly, heavy-duty shaft bearing, heavy-duty formed tube stand, and line setter control. 

Mono Capacity is 3200 lbs. (70NM of 3.6mm Monofilament).

Super Spool III- Mini Spools

This new reel design has the same ruggedness and quality contruction as our larger longline reels. These reels fill the gap for vessels not having the space for our Super Spool III monofilament spools but requiring more capacity than solid end plate reels can offer. These reels offer an impressive list of standard features including; a direct drive high efficiency Hydraulic Motor, Aluminum Construction, improved level winder with guard, stainless steel shaft, drive coupling grease system, high-tech end plate design, epoxy paint, standard duty shaft bearing and heavy duty stand. 

LS-3 and LS-4 Line Setters 

The Lindgren-Pitman LS Series Line Setters are designed to pull monofilament longlines from the hauling/storage spool at a rate equal to or faster than the boat speed, as desired. The line can be set with a predictable sag between floats for fishing baits both deep and shallow as required. Line setter speed and bait depth can easily be controlled by adjusting the line setter speed control. Line setting speed is displayed on an optional digital readout meter to ensure accurate and repeatable line setting. Hook and bait depth are a function of boat speed/setter speed, distance between floats, and buoy line length . Using the specially designed chart provided with the LS series line setter the maximum hook depth for the particular conditions can easily be calculated. Features include: Aluminum Construction, Axial Piston Hydraulic Motor with stainless steel shaft, Replaceable drive wheel elements, automatic main spool control, smooth quiet operation and epoxy paint for long life.
